Sat Nav are Bristol-based electronic improvisers Chris Menes and Nick Janaway, combining analog electronics with homemade software (MaxMSP). The duo spontaneously create organic sound webs that morph and playfully evolve, melding elements of experimental electronica, ambient and noise.

This EP is three edited sections from a long improvisation we recorded in March 2017, the first time we had played together. Nick was live-sampling and morphing Chris’ spontaneous synth sounds. We built/weaved the music together with little discussion or planning.
